You may commence your Module 1 practical training at any time upon completion of the Module 1 theory.
Module 2: Theory This is a four day workshop presented by Suzie Manson (SYT). The focus is on teaching yoga as a discipline as well as developing psychosocial and interpersonal life skills. These are presented through curricula which include teaching children how to develop a relationship with self and how to empower the self. It is here that we create wellbeing curricula for children to maximize their human potential. You will also learn how to encourage children to create or shape their lives in conjunction with the disciplines and observances that are associated with yoga. Children’s curriculums to be explored in Module 2 are those that will bring about a balance both physically, mentally, emotionally and energetically: These curriculums cover the following areas:

Teaching children to work together using partner postures.
Teaching self-esteem and self-confidence to children as a workshop.
A practical on children’s yoga alignment using equipment, bolsters, blocks, hoops, sticks and other props.

Module 2: Practical Experience Once you’ve completed Module 1 (theory and practical) and Module 2: Theory, the next step is practical-based and requires that you present a homework assignment and two age appropriate lesson plans. You will be asked to teach one of your lesson plans either as part of Module 2 or at one of our outsourced classroom environments. One of the Senior Teachers at Yoga4Kids will sit in as an examiner at the presentation of this class if it is at one of our schools. Otherwise, Suzie Manson will be the examiner as part of Module 2. You may also present these teachings via video to Drop box. Lesson plan workshops will be made available to you with the Yoga4kids team and you may sit in on one of these creative workshops. You will then be asked to teach twenty six hours of your own children’s yoga classes which will be recorded by the Yoga4kids Head Office. We can provide suggested pricing for you to charge per child or per class depending on how you choose to complete these hours. Module 2 is an exciting time for you as an instructor as not only are you gaining invaluable hands-on experience, but you are now creating a source of income for yourself.
