Kids Classes

Yoga Classes for Kids, Teens & Adults

Yoga and Wellbeing Classes for Children and Teens

We offer classes for YogaTots (ages 3 – 7), YogaKids (ages 8 – 12) and YogaTeens (ages 13 – 17). The curriculum is based on mindfulness, breathing, yoga practice, relaxation techniques and our own tailor-made life skills curricula to establish a happy, healthy and whole child.

It is our hope that all children will be empowered and confident and that they will not be victims of circumstance but will grow knowing their truth and having a profound relationship with self.  We aim to create a disciplined practice and in so doing bring a balance to the emotional, mental, physical and energetic areas of every child’s being.

It’s important for a child to build self-esteem, self-awareness and strengthen their mind, body and heart.  Yoga4kids offers a life time enrichment tool box of life skills and disciplines to live out a happy, healthy and holistic life. This is increasingly important in today’s society where children may be over-stimulated, have too much or too little energy, or struggle to keep up and balance school and other activities. Yoga can help your child develop a stronger body and build self-confidence while quieting their minds. The benefits of yoga for children are numerous.

Yoga4Kids is more committed than ever to share its passion for bringing teachings of calm and mindfulness into the lives of all our children. In order to do so, we’ve spent years curating and delivering some of the best online children’s yoga training courses, so that more children and teens can experience the benefits of these life-enriching habits.

Every child needs to learn how to find their highest vibration, soothe and regulate their nervous system and how to come into balance. Our yoga practices and mindfulness training supports children to live out happy, healthy and holistic lives.

Inner Child Yoga as a part of our Vision

Inner Child Yoga as a therapy for Parents as Part of our Vision
We are very excited to share our Inner Child Yoga Classes for Adults and especially parents. These fun filled yoga adventures are an ideal way of reconnecting to your inner child. They are a specialised therapy based yoga class experience to heal yourself from being an adult and having forgotten your ability to creatively play and have fun, to laugh and to be in the moment on the mat.

The Inner child Yoga experience is also available as a retreat and offered world-wide as a therapeutic intervention to finding joy.

Please watch this space and see our blog for further details.

In 1999, the World Health Organization identified six key areas of life skills:

  • Communication and interpersonal skills. This broadly describes the skills needed to get on and work with other people, and particularly to transfer and receive messages either in writing or verbally.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving. This describes the skills required to understand problems, find solutions to them, alone or with others, and then take action to address them.
  • Creative thinking and critical thinking. This describes the ability to think in different and unusual ways about problems, and find new solutions, or generate new ideas, coupled with the ability to assess information carefully and understand its relevance.
  • Self-awareness and empathy, which are two key parts of emotional intelligence. They describe understanding yourself and being able to feel for other people as if their experiences were happening to you.
  • Assertiveness and equanimity, or self-control. These describe the skills needed to stand up for yourself and other people, and remain calm even in the face of considerable provocation.
  • Resilience and ability to cope with problems, which describes the ability to recover from setbacks, and treat them as opportunities to learn, or simply experiences.
